I love my Icon Raiden DKR boots, have used them thoroughly on-road, off-road, rain, snow (oops), and they have always performed! Only reason I'm not using them for this journey is that they are a little worn out, and when buying new boots I felt a higher top would provide more protection.

Between my icon gloves and boots, I know they make a good product and I'm happy to give this jacket a go! Plus, the bright blue is awesome.

Designed from the bottom up to compliment the Adventurous lifestyle, the Raiden DKR Jacket  features a totally waterproof/breathable Hycor chassis that is Dupont Teflon coated and seam sealed to create the ultimate barrier. Venting is provided through strategically placed zippered vents that mitigate moisture buildup and keep air moving. The main zipper is gusseted and features a magnetic storm flap and exclusive Hydrolock zipper.

Half as heavy as its predecessor, the Raiden DKR Jacket’s Hycor chassis provides all the waterproofing, and crashability but with less fatigue during extended rides. Removal of excess snaps, zippers and pulls further decreases the weight of the garment and enables a much improved fit.

Competition use in the Baja 1000 led us to slim the profile of the body and arms to not bunch when standing up. The DKR Jacket works with you, instead of against you.

Modularity is key to the Raiden DKR Jacket so that you may modify as the ride and conditions change. Twelve pockets, even a seat pocket, add trail carrying capability. D3O impact protector suite, hydration system routing, and three exhaust vents create a jacket that is prepared for whatever your ride may hold."
